The mission of the Osceola County Community Foundation (OCCF) is to make Osceola
County a better place in which to live and work by enhancing the quality of life
and building a strong community spirit.
For all citizens, whether of modest or ample means, the Osceola County
Community Foundation offers an ideal way to make a lasting contribution to the quality
of life in Osceola County - through a bequest, donation, or proceeds of a life insurance
policy. The establishment of various types of named funds allows family names to
be maintained throughout the county through resources provided by family members.
A charitable, organization, the Foundation invests and employs the income from capital
of all amounts received from individuals, families, businesses, and private foundations
for the betterment of Osceola County.
Osceola County Community Foundation exists to connect donors with the best opportunities
to help create a better community. Our donors generous gifts fund programs in human
services, arts and culture, environment, health care, and education. These programs,
in turn, serve all the people of Osceola County and raise the quality of life, for
everyone here.
Who Administers The Foundation?
Volunteers who know the needs and issues of our county govern the Osceola County
Community Foundation. Governance by this knowledgeable Board of Trustees provides
integrity and the assurance that decisions will be made in the best interest of
the community. The Osceola County Community Foundation is a component fund of Fremont
Area Community Foundation. With their skilled professional staff and excellent leadership,
they assist in keeping our organization at the forefront of the community foundation
arena.
Osceola County Community Foundation is located in North Central Michigan and includes
the communities of Evart, LeRoy, Marion, Reed City, and Tustin.
